Operating Lease

An operating lease at Flexfleet has many layers and additional products and services are added as required, meaning you don’t pay for anything you don’t need. Our flexibility means that you can create a customised package by bundling together only those features and services that you need.

Not sure what you need? Our Customer Service Managers can assist.

Non-maintained operating lease  <———->  Fully maintained operating lease

The most basic layer is a non-maintained operating lease and this is available on all of the assets we offer. This style of operating lease is best suited to customers who want to keep control of the operational maintenance and are best placed to do so.

Further layers are added through the use of our products and services up to a fully maintained operating lease, which includes everything we have to offer and is best suited to customers who want no administrative burdens with managing the asset or are not able to match our competitive price for these products and services.

Benefits of an Operating Lease at Flexfleet

  • At the end of the lease term, the asset becomes Flexfleet’s problem, not yours.
  • You set the level of control your company has over vehicle maintenance and servicing. Flexfleet’s flexibility and customisation means that you choose the level of maintenance risk you wish to hold.
  • Optimisation of resources (including people, assets, systems and capital).
  • You only pay for what you need and want. Customisation reduces cost.
  • Off-balance sheet financing.[1]
  • Potential tax benefits.[2]

Leasing on your terms, not ours!

[1] Accounting standards require that the present value of operating lease commitments be disclosed as notes in the financial statement. For further information on this, please speak to your accountant or financial advisor.
[2] Tax benefits can be derived as the full lease payment for commercial assets are expensed, thereby reducing taxable income. To determine if an operating lease provides tax benefits to your business, please obtain independent advice from your accountant or taxation specialist.
